Ji-Yang Song, Ph.D Research Associate

Ji-Yang received her BS and PhD degrees from Yonsei University in South Korea. Before joining Dr. Sun’s lab in May 2026, she conducted postdoctoral research at Johns Hopkins University, where she studied the molecular mechanisms underlying Alzheimer’s disease. Her current research focuses on developing prime editing strategies for C9orf72-associated ALS/FTD.
