Ewelina Dwojak PhD Student

Ewelina is a PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Medicine (CMM) graduate program. She received her bachelor’s degree in Biology-Chemistry from Dominican University and gained clinical experience through medical assistantships, which sparked her interest in biomedical research. After earning her master’s degree in Biotechnology with a concentration in regenerative and stem cell technologies from Johns Hopkins University, she worked as a research fellow at the NIH, where she explored stem cell disease modeling of rare pediatric neurodegenerative disorders. In April 2025, Ewelina joined the Sun Lab, where her research interests focus on mechanistic and translational approaches for ALS/FTD treatment.
