Noelle Wright PhD Student

Noelle is a PhD student in the Cellular and Molecular Physiology (CMP) program on the School of Medicine campus. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience with a minor in Psychology from Simpson College. Before starting her PhD program, Noelle worked in the Sun lab as a research technician. She helped Dr. Zhe Zhang with finding genetic modifiers of poly-GR mediated neurotoxicity. Now, as a grad student in the lab, Noelle is working to try and edit the C9ORF72 repeats to hopefully expand into relevant gene therapies one day.
